Quickie today to alert your eyes to all-in-one comic creator and perennial grump Declan Shalvey, who has a new Kickstarter going for a process edition of his spy-fi Image hit mini Old Dog:

Why should I care about this ‘ol curmudgeon and his campaign?

Well, for starters, Dec has been a massive help to me in my development as an artist. He has generously offered his time and support over the years, playing the occasional mentor, just like they did in the old Marvel days.

But, also, because I actually have a piece of artwork in the campaign that you can get your grubby, jelly-smeared mitts on!

See, a few months back, Dec supported TOWER OF DEATH at the sketch tier, so I sketched him Jack Lynch, the titular Old Dog.

He liked it so much, he asked me to scan and color it, so here it is.

It’s part of a series of guest artist prints available with the campaign, and puts my name in the same envelope as folks like Christine Larsen, Seth Damoose, and other rockstars of the indie scene.

So, what now?
